Dave: Website and Platform
Dave was an employee experience platform designed for a pitch with investors. It consisted in a integration between Slack, WhatApp or Discord where employees could give kudos to colleagues, send pulse surveys and respond to 360 feedback rounds. The project didn't move forward and was sunset in mid 2022.

The Ask
I was invited as a Product Designer to create the website and platform for Dave's pitch with investors and lead the overall design front in case the company received investment moving forward. The main ask was to design the basis of a Design System consistent with brand principles and use those components to create their website and platform.

What we accomplished
To create a solid base and understanding of the product's experience and estimate the UX work properly, a sitemap and user flow were heavily needed in early stages of the project. First, I wanted to understand how the user was moving from different touchpoints and which types of communication was offer to them (the group had a deep understand of marketing and not so much of product. That approach facilitate not only my understand, but theirs as well). And as the platform concept was being still idealized in the stakeholders head, I decided that creating a high level sitemap would be helpful to define the MVP navigation, main features and user actions.

Website Design
The Process and Results
After designing the sitemap, I started working on the most common elements of the Design System - such as button, toggles, cards and CTA components. With that, I started to design the greater sections (such as Banners, Pricing, 3-Card Row and FAQ sections). I had total creative freedom to execute my ideas and chose the best component structure for Dave's website. The project was successfully approved in the round of review.

Sign Up Process
The Process and Results
The Sign Up Process was heavily inspired on Zoom due its complexity. The platform was initially only available for Slack but the investors wanted to pick public interest in other platforms. Therefore, we needed a process where the users could potentially select multiple options and inform them about its availability. The whole experience was also optimized for mobile.

Platform Design
The Process and Results
The Platform Design was a product of a long Discovery process. The product concept wasn't fully defined when we started the designs and therefore I had to constantly go back and forth with the executive team to understand their vision. I performed a creative workshop to understand the business vision and started a market research. With those results I was able to understand the users needs that were more aligned with the executive vision and start the mockup designs. With those mockups I was also able to execute moderate user testings.

What I've learned?
Being in a more mature stage of my careers I found that this project ran was very smooth. I was a pleasure to be in a discovery journey of a product that wasn't fully defined. I embraced the challenge with a lot of excitement and made the best of it. I also had the opportunity to improve my user testing skills.
